These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of lattice.study (the "Service"), operated by lattice.study, Florida, USA. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account or make a purchase. During registration you will be asked to enter your date of birth to confirm your age. By completing registration, you confirm that you are 13 or older. Users under 18 should review these Terms with a parent or guardian before creating an account.
If we discover that an account belongs to a user under 13, we will delete the account and all associated data without notice.
lattice.study is an independent study tool. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to the College Board. "AP," "Advanced Placement," and related course names are registered trademarks of the College Board. Use of these names on lattice.study is for descriptive, educational reference purposes only.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. Notify us immediately at soupintel@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access. We are not liable for losses caused by unauthorized use of your account.
You may not share your account with others or use another person's account. Each account is for one individual only.
You must provide accurate information when creating your account, including a valid email address, your real name, and a display name. Your display name is visible to other users through the social features described in Section 8.
Free tier: All signed-in users have access to the core study features — course explore view, timeline, map, notes, vocabulary flashcards, Graphy AI assistant (up to 15 messages/day), and daily study streak tracking — at no cost. All courses are accessible to all users without a registration gate.
Pro tier: A recurring subscription ($9.99/month or $59.99/year) unlocks additional features including the Practice view (MCQ and FRQ questions), AI-powered predicted AP score, extended Graphy daily limits (50 messages/day), and step-by-step Math solver working. Pro access is tied to the account that holds the subscription and is non-transferable.
Pro subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annual) through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method until you cancel.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through the settings panel or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain Pro access until that date, after which your account reverts to the Free tier. We do not issue refunds for partial billing periods.
Legacy lifetime buyers who made a one-time payment under the previous pricing model retain lifetime Pro access. Their access does not expire and is not subject to recurring billing.
If you experience a technical issue preventing access to features you paid for, contact us at soupintel@gmail.com and we will resolve it promptly.
Users in the European Union or other jurisdictions with statutory refund or cooling-off rights retain those rights notwithstanding the above.

lattice.study includes social features that allow users to follow one another, view public profiles, and see activity from accounts they follow. By using these features, you understand and agree that:
We reserve the right to remove profiles, followers, or any social content that violates these Terms.
"User Content" means any content you submit to the Service, including profile avatars, display names, feedback submissions, and bug reports.
By submitting User Content, you grant lattice.study a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and store that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service. You retain ownership of your content.
You represent that you have all necessary rights to the content you submit, and that your content does not infringe any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights. You are solely responsible for User Content you submit.
We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms or that we determine in our sole discretion is harmful, offensive, or otherwise inappropriate.
lattice.study respects intellectual property rights and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe that content on the Service infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to our designated DMCA agent at:

We will respond to valid takedown notices by removing or disabling access to the allegedly infringing content. If you believe content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice under the DMCA. Repeat infringers will have their accounts terminated.
lattice.study is a supplemental study aid intended to help students prepare for AP exams. We make no guarantee that use of this Service will result in any particular score, passing grade, or college credit. Content is created in good faith but may contain errors — always verify critical information with your teacher or official AP course materials.
All original content on lattice.study (including UI design, code, and original written content) is owned by lattice.study. Historical facts and dates are not copyrightable. You may use content from the Service for your personal studying only — you may not republish, resell, or redistribute it.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion, including for violations of these Terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before termination except where doing so would cause harm or is not practical. If your account is terminated for a violation of these Terms, no refund will be issued for any remaining subscription period.
You may close your account at any time by emailing us. Upon closure, your study progress and social data (followers, following relationships, profile) will be deleted within 30 days.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content is complete or accurate.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, lattice.study and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data or profits, arising out of your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date when we do. Material changes will be communicated by email to registered users where practical. Continued use of the Service after updated Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the changes.
